Spark WL-30 Water Level Sensor: Know the water level without opening the tank.
The Spark WL-30 sits on top of the tank and measures the level with ultrasound, without touching the water. See the level in the Tuya Smart app, and get an alert before the tank runs dry or overflows.
Sound in. Level out.
The sensor sends an ultrasonic pulse down to the liquid. The returning echo gives the distance, which the app shows as level percentage, depth and status. The app also keeps history by day, month and year.
- No contact: Nothing touches the liquid.
- Water and oil: Use it on either type of tank.
- History: View the level over time in the app.
Screw it into the lid. Set it up in the app.
Cut a hole of about 58 mm in the tank top, screw in the 2¼-inch threaded sensor and connect the included adapter. Place it centrally, away from the inlet and tank wall, with no contact with the liquid.
- Installation height: Set the sensor-to-bottom distance, up to 2.9 m.
- Sensor to full line: Leave at least 0.1 m below the sensor.
- Pairing: Use the same Wi-Fi for phone and sensor, with Bluetooth enabled on the phone.

Set Max and Min level thresholds. Add a Tuya Smart scene to send a notification when the level status changes. Put a sensor on each tank to see them together, and share access with family.
- High level: Set a Max threshold for the full-level alarm.
- Low level: Set Min for the low-level alarm.
- Multiple tanks: Use one sensor per tank in the same app.
Read the status at a glance.
Sleep mode measures for 28 seconds every two minutes. Red indicates power; green is on when Wi-Fi is connected. The blue LED flashes quickly while connecting and slowly when connected. Press the button for one second to reconnect to Wi-Fi.
- Red LED: Power.
- Green LED: Wi-Fi connected.
- Blue LED: Fast flash while connecting, slow when connected.
